Prime Rate is a UK based, independent, specialist provider of institutional liquidity and fixed income products. We are delighted to announce that we picked up the award for the best Money Market Fund Manager at the 2010 FT Business Pension & Investment Provider Awards (PIPA). Prime Rate faced tough competition from established industry heavyweights, including Goldman Sachs Asset Management and BlackRock, to take this prestigious award.

The FT PIPA Awards seek to recognise providers who have delivered excellence in their products and services to UK occupational pension schemes over the previous year. The key criteria used to adjudicate the Awards are performance, innovation, service standards and the competitive edge of providers.

July Market Report

Despite official rates remaining low and interbank rates remaining at severely reduced levels, with significant divergence in the rates paid by banks for funds, our funds performed strongly, both against their peers and against market rates. Our GBP Fund had a net annualised return of 0.89%, our € Fund had a net annualised return of 0.72% and the US$ fund had a net annualised return of 0.48% (all returns are for share class 3 net of fees and charges).
